Boardsmill took on Navan O'Mahonys is the Division 3 Semi Final in Dunderry on Wednesday. Boardsmill's performance in the first half was below standard which led to O'Mahonys taking the lead into half time by 4 points even with a goal from Cathal Falttery. However whatever was said at half time, got the 'Mill lads into action and they clawed back at the lead. Superb points from Conor Darby, John Flood, frees from Sean Dixon and a goal from the other Flattery brother Fergal meant that O'Mahonys lead was down to the narrowest of margins going into the last five minutes. A free was awarded to the 'Mill side and Bernard McLoughlin, stepped up and slotted the point over to draw the game. Boardsmill went on the attack again shortly afterward and were awarded a 65 in the dying minutes of the game McLoughlin again stepped up and slotted over for the 'Mill lads to win the match by a point.
